Wallace Chan discovered how to work with the metal titanium. He created large sculptures for his Venice exhibition. He used ‘Titans’ as the exhibition title because titanium is named after these mighty mythical beings. This was because metal’s main attributes are strength, lightness and longevity. Wallace Chan – Titans 2021, at Fondaco Marcello, was one of the best exhibitions in Venice during the first year after covid_19. It was an honor for me being there to document the event and having the chance to meet Wallace.
